ActionAid International: Content Management Stystem

ActionAid International, based in Johannesburg, are a global charity with local offices in over 40 countries.

Ichameleon were briefed to deliver a website that would be at the centre of their communication strategy as they campaign to end global poverty.

Ichameleon stripped out all the usual barriers to online communication and created a versatile web-based Content Management System which allows the website to be constantly updated by non-technical staff operating throughout the world.

The system is structured and developed to make it fast and effecient, with intuitive interfaces that match ActionAid's existing working practices.

Russell Jones, Ichameleon project manager, said "technology is often a barrier for non-technical people, so we made sure it was invisible to the users at ActionAid. We built the CMS to closely mirror the way ActionAid work, making it easier to adopt across the organisation".

The result is a solution that fits ActionAid like a glove, with dozens of contributors from offices around the world.
