ActionAid UK: Online advocacy and campaign management system

The latest addition to the ActionAid CMS is a powerful new tool that allows online political actions to be created in just a few moments. This easy-to-use application allows administrators to create new online campaigns that deliver the general public's message directly to politicians in the UK and Europe.
The system is powerful and function-packed:
- Admininstrators can create, edit, manage and moderate all campaigns
- The system includes up-to-date email, fax and postal addresses for all UK MPs and MEPs. There are also photographs of all MPs, links to biographies, voting records and further information about the MP.
- A campaign can match a user's postcode to a constituency, and address the correct MP or MEP
- Campaigns can be focused on a single MP, such as Gordon Brown, or on constituency MPs
- A campaign action can be taken by users with a single click, or for more dedicated supporters there are functions to write and email/print out fuller communications
- Each campaign produces detailed statistics allowing administrators to monitor effectiveness
